The POZ-2 is a professional automatic machine designed for fast and precise binding of book blocks and calendars using Zip-Wire double-loop wire in sizes from 3/16" to 1.25". The maximum binding width is 400 mm, making the machine an excellent choice for multi-sheet calendars, notebooks and catalogues.

The machine is equipped with a modern control system featuring a clear LCD display. Changing the working format together with the wire size takes a trained operator only a few minutes.

Machine operation

The automatic system feeds the wire directly from the spool and cuts it into sections of the required length. The operator places the block onto the prepared wire, after which the job is automatically transferred to the closing section. Once the cycle is completed, the finished product moves onto the delivery table. The long delivery table ensures efficient handling of multiple items without frequent interruptions.

The machine also allows binding with a hanging hook — the operator inserts the hanger manually before the wire is closed. Thanks to its robust construction, the machine delivers high output, up to 1,000 items per hour*, depending on the product format and operator skill.

Additionally, the device can serve as a high-performance wire cutting unit for preparing wire sections.
